The apartment is well equipped and furnished, I hope that you will find everything you need for your vacation. Free WiFi and TV with many channels, picture books about Prague and Czech Rep some card and board games. Leaflets with restaurant from surrounding and with Prague´s sightseeing tours and other attractions - you are welcomed to leave recommendations for others :) Baby crib and dining chair can be prepared for the youngest. As already mentioned you have access to the garden, which is shared with others, but the terrace is just for you.
The apartment is located at a tram stop just 8 min far from St. Vitus Cathedral and Petrin Tower in beautiful neighborhood called "Brevnov". Thanks to public transportation you can easily reach city center anytime, even after midnight. The internationl airport is about 30 min far by public transport.
If you travel by car, you can park on street nearby the apartment. Parking on street is paid on working days, it costs 10 EUR/day. Parking fee is paid upon arrival in cash. Free parking is possible 4 tram stations far for example in street "Za Oborou" (GPS: 50.078143, 14.338216). I park company car there and I have never had any problems.
In surrounding area of the accommodation you can visit Brevnov Monastery which is very popular. In the area of Brevnov monastery is amazing restaurant with Czech and Slovak cuisine. On a main street there are more restaurants with different cuisine such as Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Italian and Czech of course. You can find many shops on a street and grocerie stores that are open till 11 p.m. Up on a hill is large park called "Ladronka", where you can rent roller skates or just chill. Ladronka is connected with another park called "Hvezda", where you can see boars and deer if you are lucky. Park Hvezda is named by its summer pavilion. Both of the parks are nice place and you should visit them if you can.
Arriving here from the airport is very easy - just take bus 191 at the airport and change bus for tram 22 or 25 at "Vypich" station then you will go 3 stations to "U Kaštanu" station. If you will come by train to Prague´s main station take a subway "red line - C" and travel 2 stations to "Vltavská" station. At "Vltavská" station change for tram 25 and you will travell 20 min to "U Kaštanu" station. Do not forget to buy tickets for public transportation and mark them in small yellow machines. Marking machines are in every tram/bus and at an entrance to a subway.
Regarding check in/out - standard check out is before 11 AM and check in after 4 PM. If you need you can leave your luggage with us and pick it up later. Please, respect the house rules, which require night piece from 10 PM to 6 AM.
