Summary: What a beautiful place. This was hands down the most comfortable place we stayed at during over a week in Iceland. The place is really loved and the hosts are very kind and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, really feeling like a home away from home. We were very grateful for the kitchenette as there are not so many places to eat in Bogarnes and food in Iceland is very expensive. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and we had an excellent night of rest. The room is also warm enough and ventilated enough. The only suggestion I would make is to warn people not to wear silver jewellery in the shower. While there are signs talking about sulphur in the water, for tired visitors it needs to be a bit clearer what the implications are. The cafe is super cute. By the way, you had the only gluten free and lactose free dessert in town, so you should be proud of that. The staff recommended I try the museum but no it has nothing for people with gluten, lactose and legume allergies. I wish we could have stayed longer!
