Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely cosy and clean room, really spacious and super well equipped for a night but could’ve easily stayed for a week and been equally comfortable on a longer holiday. The location was very quiet and there was plenty of info on how to reach the hosts, while privacy was given. Lots of tourist info, parking conveniently outside the property and off street, and quiet times for guests advertised which helped to get a good rest after 12 hours of driving. Just had everything we needed and more and it was easy to feel comfy and at home for the night! I asked to change my date of booking due to a ferry booking change and although the host wasn’t obligated to help, they allowed me to stay a day early which was much appreciated. Communication was friendly, helpful and timely and I was able to add my dog onto the booking too!

Negative: I’m not a big fan of a soft mattress or soft pillow, so could’ve been comfier in bed, but that’s subjective to everyone :-) There was the option to remove the mattress topper and I had a good sleep on the mattress only, so no big deal at all!

Summary: Felt at home and would definitely return
