Tiraki translates from Maori into ‘clearing skies’. This characterful authentic log chalet is a landmark on the mountain slope, located at the top of the village it has fantastic 180o views over the Kaikoura Ranges around to the Waiau valley.

Tiraki lodge is ideal for a bigger family or group. The big lounge provides ample space to relax after a day in the outdoors. The views are amazing ranging from the Seaward Kaikoura Ranges to the Waiau valley. The open plan kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your holiday.
A cozy log fire attributes to the atmosphere of this authentic log chalet. Downstairs is one bedroom with a bunkbed, rundler and a queen. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. Follow the stairs up and arrive at a big mezzanine with access to 2 other bedrooms with a queen bed each and a second toilet. The mezzanine has a foldout squabs. The mezzanine is an ideal space to relax and listen to music while enjoying the views or it suits a a kids play area.
