Summary: This was a last minute booking due to an error I made. The room was lovely and clean. It was nicely appointed and modern. I went out for dinner but I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast and it was nicely presented and well cooked. The only thing stopping me giving it 5/5 overall was minor noise overnight. There was a fan in the bathroom that I couldn’t seem to control (not the switch controlled extractor which went off after a short time) and because the rooms are quite close and the doors are heavy there was some noise at times but it’s a pub with rooms rather than a hotel so it’s probably to be expected. Overall it was ideal for a night and I’d still return again as the overall stay outweighed the minor noise issue.
