4 Bedroom Cottage in Fancher, Waterport
This is a seasonal cottage; we will not be taking any further reservations in November for fear of pipes freezing. Welcome to this quiet secluded cottage on Lakeside peninsula. Visitors are welcome, but we cannot allow parties! The cottage was built in 1894 but has been recently updated (again). The first floor has a large kitchen with retro furnishings, all in great working order. Large living room has French doors that open onto an enclosed porch with wicker furnishings providing a fantastic view of the lake, sunsets and sunrises. The master bedroom is on the first floor also with picture window facing the lake. Upstairs opens up to a common room with a futon. A great place to sneak away for a nap. Off of the common room are two bedrooms. One has a single bed and the other has a full size bed. All bedrooms have overhead lighted fans. On the lake side of the house there is nice yard with a patio overlooking the patio. the patio has a burn pit built into it for those evening camp fires. On the road side of the cottage ( think really quiet road) there is another porch. Across the road, there is another shaded deck area that fits 2 to 4 chairs. From there, there is a set of wooden steps leading down to Johnson's Creek. Johnson Creek boasts some of the best fishing in the country! During the season you can catch perch, bluegill, pike, salmon, trout... you name it! There is 20 feet creek frontage with dock that goes out into Johnson's creek. The location is about an hour's drive to Niagara Falls. A few minutes drive and you can enjoy Lakeside Beach State Park. Just past that is Point Breeze, also known for great fishing, and has waterfront dining.
This is a seasonal cottage, we don’t want frozen pipes so the cottage is available From May to early November only.
There is an additional $50 fee per night for more than 4 adults, we don't charge extra for your kids :)
