Located in one of the most spectacular locations in the Catskills, this modern, cozy house seats on 5 acres between Woodstock and Hunter. It is near Platte Clove Preserve and features 3 bedrooms and an alcove that accommodates 8 to 10 people.
The Space:
Indoor Space:
The first floor is a large open plan space with 8-seat dining table, large L-shaped sofa with chaise, full kitchen with breakfast bar seating, and powder room.
A wood-burning peninsula fireplace is available for guest use.
The second floor houses the laundry room, bathroom with shower, and two guest bedrooms. 1 bedroom includes a queen bed, the second smaller room includes 2 twin beds.
The third floor includes the master suite with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with 6-foot bathtub (with shower attachment).
An alcove outside the master suite provides a home office with a printer and additional sleeping options through the use of a twin size daybed with twin size trundle.
Outdoor Space:
There are 3 main areas for relaxing outdoors. A large deck off the main living space offers a spacious setting for outdoor dining and relaxation. A 6-seat outdoor dining table and sofa seating is provided for your enjoyment.
A platform deck on the lower slope provides additional outdoor space surrounded by trees, and a firepit with outdoor seating is also provided on the upper slope.
Other things to Note:
The house is located on 5-acres of mountainside forest. Guests are permitted to walk the property but should note that there are no clear pathways delineated nor clear boundaries between neighboring properties. It is advised that guests remain within sight of the house when exploring the property,
Underfloor radiant propane heating is provided throughout house.
The private gravel driveway provides parking for up to 4 cars.

Guest Access:
Every space in the house is accessible but the basement and the storage room by the laundry area.
The Neighborhood:
The house located 2hrs from the George Washington Bridge, 20 minutes from Woodstock, 12 minutes from Hunter Ski Resort and 25 minutes from Saugerties and the Hudson river.
Platte Clove has of best hiking trails and there plenty of lakes and Hudson just 25 minutes of are to using kayaks.
The property has an outdoor lounge with a chimney in the woods, an outdoor fire pit above the field and a meditation bench by a seasonal creek under the trees.
