Welcome to our multi-level home in a quite, friendly neighborhood with mountain views at a prime location near the lake and ski resorts. The whole family will gather in our large living area with dramatically high ceilings, fireplace and huge flatscreen TV. Enjoy the private 2-car garage, 2 decks with mountain views, a BBQ gas grill and hot tub.
Kitchen is complete with all the tools that you will need to cook a family dinner, adjacent to the dining room and separate laundry room.
Bears! Do not leave any trash in the garage at all or bears will break down the garage door to get to it. Garbage in bear bins only. Do not leave any ice chests outside on the porch or the bears will get into them. Also, no food around the hot tub. People keep eating in and near the hot tub and the beats destroy the hot tub.
Please do not turn off the hot tub.
Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances (gas grills okay). The grill and outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter months.
This home cannot be used for parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 8 people and 4 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day (meaning even an afternoon BBQ with too many people is subject to citation/fine). Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (in addition to fines assessed against the homeowner by local authorities). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy may result in eviction. This home is in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/noisy groups. No pets allowed. No smoking is permitted. Noise: We kindly ask that things are kept quiet after 10:00 pm.
Parking: Maximum of 4 cars permitted. Parking is only permitted in the driveway or the garage. Street parking is not allowed by the City of South Lake Tahoe and you can be fined $1,000 for doing so.

Check Out: Checkout is 11:00 am. Late checkout is $100/hour. Please let us know the time you plan to check out so we can pass this information on to the housekeepers. We do a thorough cleaning between guests but we kindly ask that before leaving, place dishes in the dishwasher and start it; start a load of towels in the washing machine, and take out the trash. This helps us keep down the cleaning costs for guests. Please leave the home generally as you found it.
Restrooms: Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet, including wet wipes and flushable wet wipes.
Smoking: Our house is a non-smoking home, please only smoke outside. No smoking of cigarettes or weed inside the house or there will be a $500 fine.
Candles: We do not allow candles in the home, this is a fire hazard.
Damage: We understand that accidents happen. We ask that you please let us know when something is broken so that we can replace or repair it. There is stain remover under the sink in the kitchen for the carpet and bedding.
Utilities: Lights/Heating: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and lower the thermostat when leaving the house. This home does not have AC.
Garbage: Trash cans get picked up out of the bear bin early Wednesday morning. Please make sure all trash is in bags and in the plastic cans. Trash can not be outside of bags or outside of cans in the bear boxes. Again, never leave any food related trash inside the garage or bears may break into the garage. If you create too much garbage then please take it with you. Do not overfill the trash cans or leave trash in the garage or there will be a $100 charge. South Lake Tahoe does not have a garbage dump so we can not dispose of extra trash.
Furniture: Please do not rearrange furniture. We have had guests rearrange and damage the furniture. It is also difficult for our housekeeper to put it back where it belongs.
BBQ: Please clean the BBQ after you use it and put the cover back on.
Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We can not package and ship things that are left behind.
Please do not unplug anything in the home. It is difficult for the next guest if lamps are unplugged, and there are items in the home that operate the door lock and doorbell. If you don’t know what it is, do not unplug it. Do not unplug the wireless router or modem or it will shut down the door lock and you may get locked out.
