Summary: This hotel is apparently a smoker’s delight - there was no escaping the smell of marijuana or cigarettes, even in the non-smoking room, as the air conditioning units blew the outside air in. The designated smoking areas were at all entrances, so there was no way to get in or out without walking through a cloud. One guy was living in his van in the parking lot and his van reeked of marijuana. (We’ve stayed here three times and he was there all three times) Even the lobby smelled overpoweringly of a mix of marijuana and chemical cleaners. We had to ask for a new room twice since the rooms we were assigned had strong fragrances from previous guests. The furnishings were old and heavily worn. For example, outlets on the bedside lamps were non-functional, outlets in the wall were loose (plugs just fell right out), the vinyl desk chair was cracked and peeling, the carpet was worn, and during one of our stays, the toilet didn’t work. In another of our rooms, I swear the toilet was designed for an elementary school. It was very short and small. The mattresses are also very hard.
That being said, the rooms we ended up in were always clean and had appropriate supplies and clean linens.
It was nice that they offer a breakfast - it was very basic. Cereal, yogurt, a variety of muffins and breads, oatmeal, waffle station, coffee, tea, juice, scrambled egg patties, and sausage (incredibly spicy). There was not much for someone with a gluten allergy, but to be fair, there rarely is.

Summary: Reserved due to a hospital stay and they cancelled our reservation without contacting us. Hotels.com wouldn't let us manage our booking from within the app, was charged a higher rate than originally reserved.
