For hiking you can use the Skåneleden trail near Ängelholm. Cycling is excellent on the Kattegatleden, Sweden's first cycle path, connecting Helsingborg with Gothenburg. Near the house is Kaptenens Trädgård, a beautiful park with tennis court. There are 10 golf courses within a 50 km radius. Tex Ittala is a nice outlet in Högenäs: kitchen equipment, fashion, shoes, fishing equipment and ceramics. Ingelsträde, a nearby town, houses a circus museum and a French café.
